Not sure if you mean directly related to punting itself but I had just left an appointment with an escort last week when I came across a Garda checkpoint. The escort had offered me a drink which I turned down. Thankfully I did as the driver of the car in front of me was breathalysed and very likely if I had taken a drink the same thing could have happened to me.
    The Truth is out there.

Default No probs with the cops

    No probs with the cops

You guys do realise, cops read here and are members here.

Likewise some of the soundest people I have ever met are guards

When you think of all the scumbags out there, I say fair play

In terms of incidents, I had a few close shaves, esp around an overused area in harrington st

You do if you are stopped while driving a vehicle or if he/she believes you have been involved with illegal activity or a breach of the peace. If you refuse for whatever reason he/she has the ability to arrest you untill your identity can be ascertained. You do not however have to give him/her your date of birth, they sometimes ask this also incase there is more than one "Joe Bloggs" living at the address you give!!
