On the subject of reviews

A weakness in the process of review evaluation is that the only 2 verdicts we can give is rat ie think its a fake, or the ok. This is insufficent. There are a lot of in-betweens. we need a few more catagories and symbols to cover reviews that are just suspicious, retro advert type, advert type, and a 1st review/just joined catagory. what does the forum think? cheers pb

As my partner in crime suggests we do need more symbols because at the moment the the modreveiw system is set up ,we can not be 100 percent certain about reviews . (changes on the way though).

We can only use our gut intinct and info garnished from forum. We will make mistakes and get it wrong sometime , but our decisions are not set in stone .

That why extra symbol or options would help, so i do hope we get the support of the forum for new symbols for categorising reviews .

Any suggestions will be taken on board.

I agree with you guys. It's not always just as simple as black and white. Sometimes there's a grey area and you shouldn't have to decide between black and white, you should be able to put some things in the middle and let people make up their own minds on it..........

I reduced the reviews per client to one and excluded ratted, bad and neutral reviews . I only did the top four escorts ........... I am open to correction on this coz i was tired doing it .

And besides it just for fun.

I think thats why pat gave us a go at it. The admin in their defence could only deal with hard facts like ips and wheither register as escort/agency.

We not here to diss any review wrongly , we just make suggestion and let the punters make up there own mind

This may work, but I see it a little incomplete.

Your suggestion excludes (un-rated) negative & greys reviews and because of this, it may give an inaccurate idea about the overall review situation of escorts.
Anybody's understanding of a "top" means that the best of the best (of whatever sort) are to be found there. If you only include what's good and take away the bad, you'll present an incomplete situation, imagine something like calculating a balance sheet where you include only the assets but not the liabilities ...

The Escort of the Month competition rating is very fair in my opinion because it takes in calculation ALL the unrated reviews and from this a score is determined.
I know many blamed the Escort of the Month competition of being based on a faulty review system, but nobody ever accused the point system to be unfair.

"Rules:
1. Points are scored by reviews. +2 points for a positive review, -2 points for negative review and +1 point for neutral reviews.
2. N/A reviews obviously don't count as do Rat reviews. "

Now, you can add to that if you wish that any subsequent review from the same reviewer will be not taken into consideration in calculating the overall score, unless the situation changes from the last type of review (from positive becomes negative and vice-versa).

I have calculated just for jun the current situation for the current top 8 escorts, please see the attached Excel screenshot for the number of points.

Current situation:
Sara, Jasmin, Lauren, Alexis, Patty Baby, Sexy Brigitte, Brown Sugar, Lynne

Based on a point system and excluding any subsequent review from the same reviewer, the situation changes quite a lot:
Lynne, Lauren, Patty Baby / Brown Sugar (same number of points), Sexy Brigitte, Sara, Jasmin, Alexis

Now, that changes the situation quite a lot !!!

Obviously, the longer on the site is a lady, the more points / reviews she may get. Unlike the Escort of the Month, which takes into consideration the reviews received in one particular month, this new top shows the top AS AT the current date (more resemblance with a balance sheet ). That means that sometimes a lady will have some point advantage over another one just because she is longer on the site, but this certainly will encourage the ones that give a good service as well to advertise here for longer, to make up for that time deficiency.

Note 1: Please see attached the summary of my workings, they may be a bit hard to read.
Note 2: I don't mean no offence to any lady escorts here. I have used your names just because you happen to be in current top 8.
If anybody minds, I could edit my post saying escort A, B, C etc ... as my aim is not to piss off someone but to give my 2 cents worth in this thread.
