He was indeed a superb actor and great man and will slip quietly into the background
would be a much better role model than the guy all the hype and furore is about at
    the moment

    RIP

Wow I haven't though of Karl Malden in years, What did he star in was the Streets of SanFrancisco ? I always get him mixed up with the actor who was in the odd couple Felix or Oscar im not sure which is which but the scruffy one. There im showing my age.

Met him and Michael Douglas when they were filming 'The streets of San Francisco', when I was a little girl, and they were both really nice. I remember not believe how normal and accessible they were

I loved Sts of San Francisco but it wasnt over theacting or the show.It was because i was young at the tiem and it was a great excuse to stay up late.Come to think of it that was long time back and he was oldish in that.Didnt realise he was so old until now.

    Any comeback tour planned?

From what I have garnered on here during my brief sojourn I believe only you are allowed to leave and then return Lazarus like.

    Karl Malden is no Westside.
