Smile airplane flights, uncomfy seats, found this interesting..

Unless you fly First or Business class, long-distance flights can become a highly uncomfortable experience.

One of the biggest ways to improve flying in the cattle truck is to pick the right seat, which is exactly what SeatGuru is all about.

It's a site that supplies you with the layout of all the major airlines' airplanes, identifying which seats have extra legroom, which are close to the lavatory, which seats feature in-seat power ports, and which should be avoided at all cost

and why would you need to be close to the lav you naughty thing....

will come in handy i always look for an aisle seat but prefer one by the emergency exit with window - legroom first but i like to look out the window too - a voyeur !

Flew back from Tokyo 14 hour flight on a 747 with the seats next to the jacks.

It was as good as flying Business Class for comfort.

Aer lingus let you pick seats with extra legroom but it;s at a premium

at least if it does crash you probably wont have to worry about crashing ever again.

by the way did you hear about the lady that missed the air france flight by a matter of minutes last week ?

she was in italy a few days later and got killed in a car crash - her husband on the critical list.

actually thats weird - u reminded me of that movie where the schoolkids miss the flight that crashes but all begin to have rather grotesque 'accidents'
