Yesterday, I fainted
Pretty much all week I felt like shit. On monday, one of my migraines started and I wasted 4 days of my life in bed with this throbbing headache. Rent was due last week, so as they say "the show must go on" and I did manage to work a bit when I wasn't feeling the dire pain. But Oh fucking lucky me, one of those long lost regulars who decided to look me up after ages of not calling, one with ADD and a royal pain in the ass, one who is seeing some psychiatrist and says life is just so stressful... who just couldn't wait to get over his whatever it was sickness before coming into my home.... he brought his sickness and didn't care about getting me sick! Had no hesitation to stick his sick tongue in my mouth and kiss away. Can I just say, can I just BEG you guys... PLEASE PLEASE if you are sick DO NOT go see an escort! Wait, wenk for a bit, but WAIT till you are over your sickness before going to see an escort. You WILL get her sick, and this is usually her only job and way to pay her bills. And its not fair on other guys she may see and they may get sick because YOU were too disrespectful to get better before going and starting a minor epidemic..... So whatever the fuck he had, he gave to me and it stuck so fast, just when this migraine was out of me and I was dancing with relief, the very next day I lose my voice! Not a squeak able to come out of my mouth. This happened yesterday when NYC which is wrongly named "the city that never sleeps" is of course all asleep on saturdays. I had one option for a doctor and that was the ER in a hospital. The whole ordeal at the hospital cost me $1000, I was there for 6 hours, the place smelled of piss, had to see all kinds of fat unhealthy people walking around with gowns open in the back, and the attitudes of the staff was absolutely horrid. All the yelling at patients and treating and talking to them like they are brats, instead of sick people in pain. The doctor said to me "open your mouth and say "ahhh"... WTF That's fucking it? Thats all the fuck they are going to do to check me out before announcing I need a steroid shot in the arm? Were they not saying "open your mouth and say "ahhh" back 1000 years ago in a tent? With all my heart and instincts I wanted to run out of there. They said I can go to the "DISCHARGE DESK" WTF!!! A Discharge Desk? Oh my god!!! What kind of name is that? The desk to pay and leave is what it means, but why the fuck in a disgusting hospital where discharge is coming from open wounds and wherever the fuck else..... would they call the desk to sign out of hospital a "DISCHARGE DESK".. Well, I dont know if it was me not wanting to go near the DISCHARGE DESK or just leaving with a $1000 bill for only opening my mouth and saying "AHHH" after 4 hours..... but I reluctantly agreed to the steroid shot he prescribed. The needle I didnt even feel it. I started to laugh about how I didnt even feel it go in in fact, and in the middle of my (silent since I had no voice still) laugh, I fucking fainted. While I was fainting the nurse was yelling at me "Dont you dare faint! Stop being a baby" and all kinds of rude things, while shaking me and knocking my head around. Fucks sake... New York hospital staff are absolute monsters. Whatever you do, DONT GET SICK IN NEW YORK! Next thing, Im lifted on a stretcher and rolled out to the main hospital lobby with all the people walking past me, and with no voice, I cant call out for help! The stretcher smells so strong of piss and they monitored my heart and said its extremely low and tried to force a soda on me to drink. I dont drink unhealthy shit like sodas! Did they even consider maybe just offering a glass of water???? Stupid hospital staff, my god, how can they get more disrespectful and stupid, honestly. Just a simple glass of water would work wonders on me, if they bothered taking two seconds to ask me what I needed. So thats about it, they checked my heart rate 3 times, and it was too low to leave, so I remained on the piss smelling bed, obviously pissed on by previous sickhead and sheets not changed before they tossed me on it. I even crawled off it and nurse yelled for me to get back on it. She refused me to get up or leave. And to not be able to talk, to complain, to say anything, was so awful. I finally grabbed a janitor and gave him a note that said "I feel great, please let me leave immediately" and he gave to nurse, so she decided this to offer me a walk which I passed the test and then said "go discharge now" meaning go to the desk to pay.
I left so fast. Went home to bed and slept ever since. What a horrible experience. I hope your hospitals in Ireland are much better and the staff much kinder. Jesus, I think next time I get sick, Ill just stay in my home and not go anywhere. I think going to the hospital is far far far worse then just suffering on my own.
Anyway, back to original question, did you ever faint before? It was such a strange feeling. The shot she gave me was in my arm muscle, and I didnt feel it when she gave it, but after she gave it, the area started burning, then my muscle started twitching and convulsing a bit. Then I was sweating, then I saw lots of light and of course the nurses ugly face yelling at me in between the light, then I was on the stretcher waking up. Was very scary. I have had surgeries before where they gave me anaethesia, but I never felt myself go under. I didnt have any of those weird feelings or sights before going under like I did when fainting.
So, I have a tiny bit of voice now. Not much of one. Hopefully Ill be back to normal soon and back to work. But as I said earlier, please lads when you dont feel well, please just wait till your better before seeing an escort. Now that you have my story here, you may have not been aware before, but now you can be to know what we may have to go through after just that quick half hour of someone kissing us when they're sick.
