but i can see this being abused and tit for tat reports going up.He reported me so i will report him sort of thing.Also we will be back to the same old "i reported this and that was done,yet he reported that the this was done.

I hear yeah but there are rules against misusing the report option. People doing so and acting the maggot will be sanctioned and possibly banned for a time of varying degree but people reporting anything in a spirit of wishing to help or anyone reporting abuse directed at them will be looked into on every occasion and in fact a new system to flag reported posts more effectively has been in operation for a couple of weeks now and is proving very useful... we cannot fail to see any reported post...

The gardai can actually do what they want when it comes to harassing and inciting the average person. I've heard of people on the street being asked for their name randomly and being told they'd be arrested if they didn't give it. But some of them are just desperately looking for anything you say to them they can get you on, I know because I have personal experience on it. Then if some notorious gangster comes along they pee their pants and go away because they know the gangster won't incriminate himself by saying "get lost" or something. The best way of dealing with this type of garda is say basically nothing. Don't engage with them in any way.

This is worse than the CIA or KGB we now have a raft of moderators and are setting up
what is basically a snitch network .I have been on this site for almost 2 years and any of
this has done nothing to enhance this site quite the contrary in fact as when i first joined
the quality of post,poster and the craic was all much better

Agreed and i think you will see it plumit further to were the mods will be the only ones left posting because everyones snitching on each other..

Hi,
I just read logged on for the first time in a while and just read the thread starters post. I have no idea what is going on but feel sad to hear that Alyssa was forced to drop to such levels. I personally know Alyssa and have regular contact with her and despite all that we have experienced I have never once witnessed her respond in such a way. I can only conclude that who ever was on her case must have done a very good job at hurting and intimidating her to bring her to this.
As I said early, I dont know whats going on but I personally know how bullying feels. I experienced it a few years ago and its very very unpleasant. If people actually knew the pain it causes I am sure they would think twice about doing so.
I think the best thing to do in these cases is to let things drop and dont answer back. I have told many collegues and clients alike to stop answering back....it only adds fuel to the fire.
I am still very shocked to see a friend of mine experiencing this but somehow not suprised as someone is always pinpointed whether for the wrong or right reasons.
I really hope this will end in a good note and that everyone involved can maybe see that its all gone a little to far. Even the strongest person gets hurt with accussations and if something is personal maybe it should be kept personal or otherwise stated on a review.

You call it snitching but I call it genuine Escorts and Genuine Punters looking out for one another. If ye don't do it who will?
