I was driving through Cherrywood last week & it’s looking like it could be the next Sandyford with the amount of development going on there at the moment. Could ‘Pop your’ Cherrywood become the new ‘Randyford’? It’s easily accessible off the M50, will have lots of businesses close by full of eager punters & also has the LUAS?

It as the geniuses that ‘plan’ things here have decided not to widen the M11/N11(the favoured punter entrance points of the future I’m guessing?) until 2027, yes this was mentioned on the radio at the weekend even though it’s projected construction completion date is 2023/4 you’ll need a feckin helicopter, drone taxi or parachute to get in there (in more ways than one). I just hope to fcuk we can still get into Randyford without queuing on the (permanently?) backed up M50 by then too...50,000 fcuking people will be living in Cherrywood that’s near the entire population of Waterford City for fcuks sake! The idiots who grant permission for these projects who totally ignore the lack of infrastructure available to service these massive projects should be taken out & shot...so yea Cherrywood could well be a place to pop cherries but at what cost??
