Ya Know we can all give an opinion here, which is appreciated and for the most part respected, but lets not lose ourselves,
An innocent girl had her life taken away by 2 despicable fucks and yes they might be out in 10 or so years but I can assure
you there will be people waiting for them when they do, as they are known by some and it won't be forgotten.
Most of us can not fathom what the families are going through (but I can) The worst thing about all this, is in a few months
there will be something similar or even worse in the news (I pray not) that this will be forgotten, except for young Ana's family.

Why would he be a psychopath?
It wouldn't even be what he did if he expressed some genuine remorse but by a term he supposedly uttered during questioning according to a newspaper today,that he supposedly "didn't feel much".
The case has similarities to the Bulger case in that both Thompson and Venables in their day both lied through their teeth and repeatedly tried to put the blame on each other.

Most of these people certainly wouldn't be fit to be judges but nor would they have any business being on a jury.

I agree with execution but lock them up with some violent sex offenders for a few years first. Some people are arguing for leniency but the courts should remember that they have a duty to protect society from these monsters.

..and , they are only just a Making of The Monsters just yet .

Just playing Devil's advocate.
A modern democracy has an independent judiciary and a legal system that allows both adequate prosecution and defence,and furthermore eschews cruel and unusual punishments.
Of course anyone who doesn't agree with that should be entirely free to move to Russia, China or North Korea and try a little state criticism.
The latter two are still big into execution.
