Mean while the accused cannot be named . Have a complete media shutdown on things like this or none at all .I know the accused are young but so was she .

It's so sad ,that poor girl had her whole life ahead of her. I can't imagine how her parents feel. Those little bastard's should rot in jail for the rest of their lives.

it is a shame that RTE have been so graphic with this case, one report at the guilty verdict would have been enough, all those graphic details were not warranted during the trial :-(

We have seen now a number of distasteful/disgusting reporting of court cases lately , News sensationalism/Porn . Why some of the details of the victims life had to be exposed is beyond me , I see a drive ears and eyeballs motive in the Media . The Belfast rape case springs to mind . The harm done to those most hurt, the families the victims seems to have no value or weight because the Media ordain we need to know.

There needs to be a full review of reporting on court cases here and in NI . Not diverting here but the Jackson rape case reporting was utterly ridiculous in its content and daily intensity.

For the parents of that murdered child to now have yet more burden to carry is not on.

As to those who would disown the 2 convicted my money would be on them rearing dysfunctional children . Morons .

This is so true but rest assured there are some people who know those 2 young lads for when they get out. A lot of lives have been damaged because of this.
