Some advice needed on an apartment i'm renting

I rent out a very nice apartment in Dublin to an Escort, actually only found out she was an escort after 3 months as saw her advert on here.
Lovely lady and rent is always paid on time. All good there

Seems when she is away she has another Escort working from there.
My neigbour there has told me this and he fine about it but when he knows others there probably know.

So could someone tell me if it was reported could I get into trouble?
As I have said the girl or girls are no bother but afraid I could land myself in hot water and it is worrying me a little.

You checked references I presume and have a deposit so all is above board, if the police where to ask, you did all the checks and rent is paid ontime. If you know something then you could potentially be done for living off immoral earning, as accepting rent from her through escorting will be seen as this.

Escorts are great renters, always keeping places clean and tidy because it's your work place, looking after the place to ensure clients are comfortable. Likely to pay for their own repairs rather than get in touch with land lord so there are no surprise visitors. Leave her be, and if anything were to come up.... You know nothing John snow.

I unknowingly rented to a escort in 2004.
Cost me €18000 to repair the place after her, and I had the Gardai in and out of my place of work.
Nothing more came of it as I was unaware it was used as a brothel.

Emily's advice is best. I would add that evicting her from the apartment could do more harm than good; allowing an escort to use an apartment quietly is better than evicting her and possibly leaving her with nowhere else to go, or it may force her to move to a different apartment in a more dangerous area.

Remember, all you're doing is providing her with a legitimate service (renting her an apartment) as you would do for anyone else, and where her money came from has nothing to do with you.

I think there's a big difference between renting out to a nice woman, who then does some escort work that you were previously unaware of, and intentionally setting up a brothel on your property so you can make fast money to pay off some debts.
