Westie is correct when he states that it mightened matter a whole lot who gets into power after the next general election......there is going to be an awful lot of shit to clear up and very tough decisions will be necessary to achieve this.
However, in the meantime, local elections, European elections and bi-elections, all we can do is punish FF for the contribution that they made to getting us all into the shit, and hope that a severe kicking might just destabilize the worst government we've ever suffered under sufficiently.

I actually agree with Mr Singh to a degree,
Bertie Fucking Ahern and his golden circle agreed to bring in workers from the 10 new EU states at the time. To help provide cheap labour to the Fianna Fail party backers the rich businessmen and big farmers.
12 other countries from the EU 15 said they were not going to take anyone for 3 years, why because they didn't want to be overrun with migrant labour. They had already seen from previous experiences what can happen.
Our manufacturing base didn't increase in the last 5 years, all that increased was construction, building apartments for the "new Irish" to move into. People were thrown money by the banks to become landlords and rent out these new shining apartments to the new Irish, we now all know that all that was build on sand.
