Default Dramatic Increase in Attacks on Sex Workers Since The New Law

Quelle surprise, the great and the good behind this law change were warned in advance!

How could any socialist or feminist stand by this?
    Ride them on the beaches!

According to the abolitionists, the law sends a message about prostitution being morally wrong. By that same standard, it would also send a message that sex workers are doing something wrong and that normalises the idea of violence happening to them.

I remember an old video of a mob of residents who swarmed around a house in their community one afternoon because they heard the women inside were selling sex... that's a really volatile and dangerous situation for any woman to be in. Yet, sex workers being harassed and attacked is normalised by laws which create a perception that they are doing something wrong.

Abolitionists don't actually give a fuck about sex worker safety, this is the problem. Note that abolitionists constantly talk about the clients, and they constantly talk about men who buy sex. They just hate the idea of men buying sex, and they will try to stop it, regardless of how many sex workers are harmed in the process.

    Ah, here's the video.

(and yes, note that this happened after the law was passed in NI).

This is disgusting, but you heard NOTHING in the media about this. NOTHING from the abolitionists, the Guardian, etc. etc. That's because abolitionists have no problem with violence against sex workers being normal.

Its sad really, many of this hate mob who stay around will get drunk and have sex with a stranger picked up in bar and not remember next day , or live on benefits even they are good to work but they say about sex workers are being not morall and doing 'wrong' . We dont do anything wrong actually we do only good to people. If this women will be any smarter... A husband in a sexless marriage will come back home from an escort released not stressed anymore, not looking for a parallel relation or any other way to get what the body ask for something who can affect their marriage. A shy guy will get what he need simple visiting a working girl , the girls is happy she pay her bills and the guy is happy he got what he need it , same people with disabilities, same people who dont want a relation but still is human and have human needs and many many other categories of people. I strongly believe if escorts will stop exist anymore , rape cases will increase... i just look at my phone friday night how many calls i get ... what this young guys friday night will do if they will not have the possibility to call an escort when they are with a hard on.... maybe some of them will choose the wrong way to satisfy their nature call... Maybe i,m to old to hope i will see a change in people mentality in my lifetime but i hope in one day things will change the view over sex work will change and people will be more pen minded and accept selig sexual services is not different then selling beauty services or any other services, always will be ladies/guys who will want to provide this type of services and always will b buyers interesting in what we offer. Regularise , tax the business , hunt the real criminals the traffickers and leave us the others to work in peace, pay tax and protect us.
    Always Smile

Fetish Cherry, we all know the story of the very 16th century attitude to sex Workers, the only difference is we don't
Publically burn them as Witch's now.

    ”Kate McGrew :

    “Sex workers are not decriminalized.

“Since the law has been introduced many more sex workers have been arrested than clients.

“We want sex work decriminalised so that the power gets put back in the hands of the worker.”

    I agree with this !
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

    Yes, please do this.

Northern Ireland, in particular, has a really poor voter turnout.

Here's an astonishing fact: 50% of adults in NI consider themselves neither unionist nor nationalist. Yet, it's the extreme unionist and extreme nationalist parties that keep getting elected. That's because people with moderate opinions aren't turning up to vote. If all of these people were to vote, the DUP and Sinn Fein would be out the door.

The solution is to vote for politicians who listen to what sex workers want.
