Yeah but.... "my friend who's a junior garda says such and such" isn't a great source of information. First of all it's hearsay, secondly... you're not really saying anything concrete...
On the other hand nothing surprises me anymore, you never know what "internet prostitution ring crackdown" the gardai might be planning. So even if the source of information isn't that reliable, maybe girls should be careful, they don't really care about proving things as much as you might think. A cynical guess of mine is the best reason we're safe so far is that maybe many of the upper level gardai are clients themselves.
