    Hi
If one was goong to Grand Canal Dock area what is the best way to get there from City Centre. Should one drive but where do you park, or get public transport and walk?
    Any insight would help.

Grand Canal Dock is city centre imo. I've visited that area a few times, once I parked around Baggot street and strolled along the canal. The other 2 times I travelled by train and I walked from Heuston.

My wife caught me wearing ladies underwear and threatened to leave me.
So I packed up all her clothes
    And left.

On street parking can bit tricky but there are a few undergound carparks close by.
There is an underground car park opposite the Clayton but you need to pre book it if you are going there later in the day, I'd advise walking, I was supposed to meet an escort there a while back but ended up just just driving round in circles looking for a parking spot, had to admit defeat in the end.

If you prefer to drive, there is an underground car park right below Grand Canal Square (accessed by Chimney View), and one below the Marker Hotel (accessed by Misery Hill). I have always found room in one of those. Not cheap, but a small percentage of your time and companionship donation.

Plenty of on street parking just off Barrow Street only 500m from grand canal if the undergrounds are full. Though I've always gotten a space in the underground.

Sorry but city centre of where Cork? Walk or hire a bike. Trust me if you drive during rush hour you'll be stuck in traffic for so long that you'd think you had driven from Cork!
