Do they actually want a better deal than they currently have if they stay members?
They were holding Europe back by hanging on to their pound. I think we will be better off without them.
But I don't know where either side will find staff brave enough to man the border posts.
Could it be time to have an international peace keeping force on this island?
The UK business environment is now structured on many levels to the efficiencies of no borders, no delays seamless trading with Europe. You cannot magic those structures and costs away overnight hence there is no warehousing left in huge tranches of the UK as they try to build in some resilience by stockpiling, but this has a serious cost . Just in time supply chains rely for example relies on it .

then you have banking etc never mind the food industry and perishable products .

The biggest problem in the UK is that the main political parties are totally devided as well as the people who voted in the referendum (Well apart from SNP, Lib Dems over there in GB).

The pro Brexit lobby told blatant lies about money for the NHS & an influx of Turkish immigrants. Lie and blatant lies.

The remain group were too complacent expecting to win the referendum - they were so wrong.

This wee part of the country that I live in never came into the equation. There cannot be a hard border here again - the only one's that will benefit from a hard border are the dissidents and smugglers.

I know a lot of people where I live would love to see the opportunity to smuggle goods again on the border here - I am not 1 of them.

Brexit has been a total fuck up from day 1 and continues to be so.

The Corbyn creature may be bending or rather being bent towards a second referendum.
