That building was designed for the Viceroy of India and was supposed to be built in Bombay in 1868. That's why it has all those towers. However, the Brits mixed the plans up and the Viceroys Palace was build in Enniscorthy and the psychiatric hospital ( fondly known as the 'mental hospital' in Enniscorthy) was built in India (for the Viceroy to live in)...bet he wasn't to impressed..
