I'm glad Barcelona won. We would never hear the end of it if Utd won. Before the game all the pundits were saying they were the best team ever. Not so long ago they were going to win 5 trophies. I didn't think Barcelona would beat them with some defenders missing. It turned out the defenders in their place done a better job. Sylvinho an ex gunner and Pique ex Man Utd

It's a great achievment by Barcelona doing a similar treble that Utd done a decade ago. An even better achievement when you consider it's Pep Guardiolas first season as manager.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing by so - called Man Utd fans on phone ins after the game. They were saying it's time for Fergie to go. They have no midfield. Scholes and Giggs are past it. The only comment I agreed with was Tevez should have started the match. And they should sign him. But I hope not No doubt these were the prawn sandwich brigade that were calling. There was no critisism for the other 65 games. One game and it's a disaster.

Utd started well in the first 10 minutes. If they scored first it could have been a different game.

And if Manchester United won and were celebrating I'm sure others wouldn't like the topic then. But it doesn't mean they shouldn't celebrate their win. I'm not a Leinster rugby fan, but I am a rugby supporter, and so the first post I made here after the Heineken cup was to congratulate Leinster on their win..........

YouTube - Montserrat Caballé - Barcelona: Stereo

The majority of the 'fans' that call those phone-in shows are muppets so their views should be taken with a pinch(maybe more) of salt.
As for your comment 'never hear the end of it if United had won' - its the media that are to blame for that not genuine United supporters. Remember the hype after Liverpool thrashed Real Madrid a couple of months ago. Goals change games - Barca looked very nervous in the first 10 minutes when United had control but the goal gave them confidence and knocked the Reds off their stride and the rest is history.

No team can be brilliant all the time otherwise it could get very boring. It was Barca's night and they deserved their win but that result doesn't make United a bad team. Shit happens!!!
