Default Theresa May's Brexit deal, as expected, voted down! (by 432 to 202 votes!)

I know this is serious but it really does belong in the "Soap Opera"
Brexit deal rejected by the Commons - 432 to 202. This is the biggest government defeat in modern times.

Ignominious record; Previous worst-ever defeat for a British government was 1924 when Ramsay Macdonald’s Labour minority government lost by 166 votes.

We do live in interesting times!

She has no obvious successor but how can she continue? Or even, how can BREXIT now even occur? Not an orderly BREXIT anyhow!

It's bin a total catastrophe since that prick Cameron agreed to a Brexit vote to appease those in his own party and UKIP.

Then he just fucks off lak!!

Then May calls an election thinking she will gain seats from Corbyn but ends up with a minority depending on Arlene & co!!

Don't think Corbyn will win the no confidence vote as the DUP love having that bit of power and definitely wouldn't like Gerry Adams mate Corbyn as PM.

    British politics is a joke.

Well we're used to that in the North with Stormount!!

I thought from the start that there was a good chance BREXIT would never happen.

Despite what they say, a second referendum must be close now.

I've said that from day 1 myself Steve but the UK is very devided already and that's why May has rubbished a second referendum but I honestly think it's the only answer.
If the British public vote to leave again (a lot believed the lies last time and were VERY gullible) then fuck knows what will happen.

The deal Theresa May had was not seen as a good one. Better than a hard Brexit but still not good.
The markets believe the vote makes a softer Brexit more likely. Investors believe if Theresa May is forced to compromise she will compromise in the direction of those who would prefer a Brexit that more closely resembled a customs union or Norway arrangement.
The vote also means that it is also more likely Brexit may not happen at all.
She should also win her confidence vote, a serious setback for Jeremy Corbyn, a man not liked by investors.

However, despite the slight rise, Sterling still has taken a battering over the Brexit fiasco.
