It's hard to see it happening, Ireland always underperform in the world cup. They will be hyped up by the media, pick up a long list of injuries in the group stage, go in favourites to a 1/4 final and get dumped out.

Cannot see it to be honest. Ireland do not tend to carry the favorites tag very well.

We definitely won't win as we'll probably have to lose a few semi finals first before even reaching a final. Oh, and our probable QF opponents South Africa, just beat NZ away scoring 36 points. I'm afraid another QF loss is the most likely outcome, but I would expect it to be closer than the last few QF's, where we couldn't the handle the pressure of being red hot favourites
