Where the fuck have we seen this before? Ban online ads yet claim you're not anti sex work? Get outta here with that nonsense.

What if "It's Raining Men" and 'Let the bodies hit the floor' are both about the same event but from different perspectives 🤔

There are far too many people who seem to believe they have the right to subject their views on how to live on others.
Many of these people should really get their facts straight before even voicing an opinion.
It's more of the usual.
Let's ban sex work for the good of the sex workers, but let's not ask their opinion. We know more about what's good for them than they do.
Something similar is a regular topic here. All escorts that charge €50 are terrible and have pimps, but the people stating this as fact have never visited one.
But apparently this is obvious and I'm wrong. Really annoys me.

Just read the article, thanks for posting by the way. The solution would be not banning it but legalising it. Thats the only way of controlling it and furthermore it would make it safer for the sex worker and the client.
Here is a interesting read on the pro's and cons. https://prostitution.procon.org/view...ourceID=000115
This one is my favourite pro argument.
"If sex work is not going to disappear anytime soon, anyone who cares about the health and safety of sex workers – not to mention their rights – should support moves to make it a fully legal industry. That is what most sex workers want as well...
Countries that criminalize the sex industry should consider the harms these laws cause... It is time to put aside moralistic prejudices, whether based on religion or an idealistic form of feminism, and do what is in the best interests of sex workers and the public as a whole."

You shoudlnt let it annoy you. Its just an opinion. You know more because you choose to see 50 euro escorts while punters like myself wouldn't take a chance on a 50 euro escort. Its just an opinion. If you have fun with 50 euro escorts and enjoy the services provided by them then educate people with your experience. If they still dont buy it then who cares as its only there opinion.

But that could be to do with the #MeToo movement, changes in classification of certain crime, or an increase in willingness of both men and women to report such incidents.
The Paddy Jackson/ Stuart Olding case would have had effect as well, given the time line.
It certainly is Significant. Globally and locally but as Cha Cha said, we simply haven't enough information to draw such a conclusion.
Anyways I'm heartened that as the English Lassies have established groups to speak for them they've a better chance. Higher profile too.
Alas the nature of things in Ireland prevented groups like the SWAI being set up sooner. :/

I think it is a percentage game really. The chances of a poor appointment or meeting a lady who is perhaps working under the influence of a pimp or in a brothel is higher at this price point. Many people in the current climate have internalised an assumption that
they are safer with a higher priced seemingly independent escort. Personally I have come across some excellent escorts in the 50-60 Euro bracket but from my experience they are not always easy to find and good ones often drift more upmarket with the passage of time.
