Are girls generally dog-friendly....?

I'm thinking of getting a dog (I had two growing up) and I was just wondering... what if my dog can't find enough bitches to satiate him? What if the one around are uptight bitches who won't put out...? Would girls generally do a dog no problem or would it usually be regarded an "extra"? The dog would be well groomed and hygienic just like Rover is...
