If escorts are going to reduce rates that is thier decision & I hope the demand reflects this for them. But if they do then the idea that they would be filing thier nails during an appointment is ridiculous. Either do or don't reduce but stop the nonsense about giving less if you do.
    Just wondering

When would you say the recession started? And when would you say it affected the amount Irish men felt relaxed to pay?

When I was in Ireland in August, I had no problems getting my asking rate. Im just wondering did the recession in Ireland start after I left?

    Just curious.

The average 15 to 20 min fuck in Europe is €50.

So your suggestion that you will give a lesser service for what is still a lot of money to a lot of guys i.e €100.

A lot of guys and gals are getting €200 per week on the dole.

Your €100 is still a lot more than what you would earn in Prague so don't give me I in Ireland cause I love it crap.

There are thankfully plenty of Girls in the 100 bracket giving a good service.

I didn't enter your pole because you should have had the option
    "I want a full service for €100"
The fact is i think all of us have a a good run financially, but with the recession and there is one and it's here to stay, most businesses are reducing prices, it's happening globally and especially in britain and ireland, with major retailers offering bartering to the public. I feel that it's an open market and everyone is worried, as we should be but that includes both escorts and clients. People are getting smarter with their money, as everyone realised they HADN"T got a money tree after all out the back garden. We are more aware of what's around the corner and we are getting scared. I don't think that anyone should be turning away good money and i feel that those who do ARE being foolish. With respect and within reason i say a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. There are some people expecting unrealistic services for token amount's that nobody would entertain but there are also people on to me asking for realistic services for realistic amounts. I would rather see these people than sit there all day seeing no-one. We all have to adapt to change.

    Just curious.

The recession in Ireland officially started in Q1 2008, but the bean counters from the CSO only confirmed this fact in mid-September. Every businessman and dog in the street knew from early 2008 or late 2007 that things had taken a turn for the worse, but our limp-dicked politicians, bankers, financial regulators, developers, economists and the sycophantic scribblers in the media conspired to withhold the truth, afraid that Joe Public would discover what a bunch of gobshites ran this country. They spouted empty phrases to the effect that "the fundamentals of the economy are sound", "we will experience a soft landing after the heady years of the celtic tiger growth rate", "the economy is experiencing a correction to more normal long term sustainable growth patterns", "the Irish banks have no liquidity problems" and as late as March of this year from our Tanaiste (Deputy Prime-Minister), "there is no problem in the public finances". Our ex-Taoiseach (Prime Minister) actually advised those warning of the impending doom and gloom to go and commit suicide.

Not even I could write this sh**e and pull if off with a straight face.

So when the unpalateable truth hit, it hit very hard, and in a reversal of Jesus' ascension into heaven, the Irish people descended from cloud-cuckoo-land and made the startling discovery that "f**k we aint livin in the promised land no more". We stopped spending our hard earned bucks on houses, cars, holidays, furniture and even sex.....we crossed the border in great multitutes to buy British goods from our Protestant neighbours and we got down and thanked the Lord, that the British, in their infinite wisdom has retained "the occupied six counties". The government's tax take naturally collapsed in terms of stamp duty and VAT, and thus far, we have had two budgets which have half heartedly attempted to correct the massive deficit in the public finances.

But just in case, you thought it could'nt get any worse, the Government has had to reverse a range of it's budgetary measures, either as a result of the depth of public anger and protest or, after some mature reflection and even maturer legal advice, the gobshites discovered that they could'nt implement those measures because they had no legal basis for the proposed changes. Meanwhile, we have about 300,000 public sector workers adjutating (I love that word) and trying to bankrupt their employer.

Dolly do you have any good movie directors as clients, because somebody should certainly make a film about this......"The Last Days of the Celtic Tiger - A Comedy of Errors". We could get the Monty Python crew, the Young Ones and your woman out of Legally Blonde to play the Government.....find a French or Italian actor, or anyone whose English is'nt the best to play our ex-Taoiseach.

But hey Dolly, when all is said and done, every cloud has a silver lining..............at least this Government does'nt run E-I.

This time, the revolution will be televised.

    Default Recession...

IMO Luther is correct...seeing escorts should not be high up in your list of expenses....so if you can't afford it, go down Baggot Street and pick up a street girl who has no over heads to pay for and get your value that way!

Quit f'ing moaning about the recession! Moaning is not attractive unless for pleasure. Moaning has put a lot of people out of jobs and has helped cause the recession. Put your efforts to better use, get your finger out and stop feeling sorry for your selves because you don't have as much money as you used to or as much as someone else....

Who receives just €200 a week?

Also do many escorts claim social welfare benefits? That would seem really unfair...
