Use a separate sim card for punting or get a cheap phone for this. That way you avoid all this nonsense.
You have to protect yourself. As you can see nobody else is going to do it for you.

Also, if you never saw her then how come she has your number in the first place?
Absolutely - this cost a few euros, and the problem goes away. Getting texts and calls to your phone is only one issue - the other issue is you are leaving a trail of evidence for potential court cases if you use a phone that is linked to you.

What happens though when you use online to top-up the other SIM? Dont you have to put in details for payments?

Buy the phone for cash (don't use loyalty card) and top up using vouchers, also bought for cash.

Not just the phone but surely they can link your profile here and if you write a review that shows time, payment and services that can be used as evidence too! Or have the right to access PMs etc.

No it isn't! A new basic phone will cost you less than 20, and I personally would not use one that is linked to me. I also would not use a second sim in the same phone. That does not give you as much anonymity as you think - phone apps are constantly gathering information illegitimately and making connections for advertising purposes (I have written phone apps, so I know a bit about this).

If you use a cash phone and cash vouchers it takes away a long list of potential problems.

You may have a valid point there.

I apologise. I was having some fun with the word boyfriend and didn't mean to imply anything by it. I'll report my post and ask the mod to remove it. Sorry again

Ask her to stop texting. No need to give her a reason why.

And as far as I know, escorts do this when touring, letting their favourite regulars they are nearby. But that happens after the escort asks permison if its ok to text when they come back around..... well a decent well manered person would ask first ffs.

And least but not the last... you should find out who gave your number away and tell that person its not ok to do that ffs.

As for EI doing something about it... they cant. My phone, my business. EI got nothing to do with how we use our personal things. All they do is manage our adverts(verifing pics/moderating reviews etc).

Its you who has to do something about the issue... and if the problem doesnt stop... and you dont want to get involved with garda for any reason, just make that phone “lost or stolen”. Save all your numbers and change your personal number, then if you still wanna see someone, there are cheap used phones everywhere. That and a new sim card will do the job.

Sorry to hear this happened to you...
    Text me will ya doll.
