My Sunday Rant: the debate regarding SP's fees and services

There is an abundance of discussion on this board relating to SP's (service providers), their fees, looks, nationalities, and the services they provide.
Last time I checked, Ireland is a capitalist society (free market) in which supply and demand will determine pricing and one simply looks for a service provider that has a fee structure that is suitable.
Some want an SP who maintains a higher fee and sees one or two clients per day while others are content to visit the SP who runs an "assembly line style" operation at lower fees.
There are those who want everything on the menu while others look for someone to engage with intimately and prefer the "girlfriend experience". You will see that there are those who simply want to satisfy their own physical desires; yet find that some are looking to be with someone where the experience is mutually rewarding.
I am not sure that nasty and demeaning discussions are ever going to resolve issues and lead to positive outcomes. It is the collective actions of responsible people that brings about change. If an SP arrives on the scene and is seen to be disrespectful towards clients while trying to extract as much money for the least amount of work, the solution is avoidance. An SP will not hang about if there is no business. Plain and simple. If s/he is still in town, then there are clients availing of their services.
If an SP charges a higher than average fee because of the desire to have a few clients a day/week, so be it. As long as clients visit this SP, s/he will be around.
Clients that want particular services should look for SP's that provide said service. You may find that an SP has (in your view) incredible looks, but provides few services while another SP, who is average looking, (in your view) provides every service known to man.
You will find that some SP's have higher fees than other SP's for the same services. If your budget does not permit you to see certain SP's due to higher fees, then demeaning her or him is certainly not going to have the effect of a fee reduction accompanied by an incredible experience.
Furthermore, keep in mind that while you may be peeved that a particular SP has higher fees which exclude you from availing of her or his services; another client will think that this is fantastic as s/he may prefer an SP that only has one or two clients per day or week.
The beauty of a free market society is that each and everyone of us is free to do as we wish. No one can compel a client to pay a certain amount nor can an SP be made to provide a service s/he doesn't want to do.
There is no right or wrong way about this. The bottom line is that what two (or more) consenting adults do is between them and no one else. If these two (or more) have a positive experience, great! If not, then you learn from the experience and move on.
