Reviews - Pain in the Arse to Write

Its a pain in the arse to write a review now.

I like to type up the main part of the review in MS Word & then when happy with it Copy and Paste into the main review section.

You can not do this any more - under Windows or on an Android phone - You have to type it in directly into the main section.

You can not amend the review after you have posted it.

I agree they are a pain - as said in another thread, they are implemented in an awkward way, so that mistakes can cause you to have to re-enter a lot of stuff.

However, on Windows I am able to write the text in Notepad, and copy and paste works for me - not sure why you are having that problem.

Like a lot of things . A necessary evil. My biggest annoyance is having to retype when u missed a box.

CTRL +V will allow you to paste into the review text section on Windows.

I can understand not being allowed to amend the review after posting it. I'd say some people would start taking the piss if that was possible.
Anytime I needed something amended/changed a quick PM to the mods got it sorted quickly.

I can understand too why you cannot change a review, but the ability to change it before the mods have approved it would be helpful. After approval, and it is published off course it needs to stay the way it is.

I wrote my last review in Windows using Notepad - Used COPY & CTRL +V to paste and it worked a treat.
