    Ghost was one alright, really made the theme tune. But another on was (can't remember the title of the film). Anthony Hopkins portrayed the author C. S.     Do You remember this movie with W. Goldberg ab0ut slaves " Color of purple" - something like that. Cried badly on that one

    Nah, I think it's "Shadowlands". It's based on a play, and Debra Winger played the dying woman. She was nominated for an Oscar too

    Those ones where the poor young lads fighting for a cause get killed always get me. The likes of Gallipoli with Mel Gibson.
