Pretty good? It's pretty fucking awesome!
Stick with it, it builds the tension as it goes and gets hectic as fuck in some places.
There's a few scenes in the later episodes where it's 'strap the fuck in, the crazy train has just jumped off a bridge'.

Jon Bernthal is a close to perfect fit for The Punisher.
The series carried a lot of the darkness of Garth Ennis' version.
Micro's character works well as the tension counterbalance to Frank's, actually much more interesting than the Ennis interpretation of Micro.
When Frank dons his memento mori you know shit is gonna get heavy.

I nearly came watching the final episode.
And without giving away too much there's a hint of the origins of one of Frank's old nemesis in the last few minutes.

Hopefully they do a second series.

I know what you're saying regarding Micro, the heavy handedness.
But he's a tortured character whose had his world stripped from him, and this guy out of nowhere decides the best way to make contact is to start playing games with him?
I know what I'd do in that situation.

He wasnt a tortured character when he did what he did in afghanistan
the just following orders thing cant be used either
the germans in 1945 already tried that,didnt really work

To be honest,no
not when commiting acts like that
would have preferred if theyd written it that another soldier had done it
and then having him loose his shit over it
instead he only lost his cool when things happened to himself and his unit
it didnt seem to bother him much up until that
