Not a fan of violence but in I think 1908 the highest infant mortallity rate in Europe was Derry , of 20,000 at Harland and Wolf I think 300 Catholic . In the 60s the injustice in the 6 counties was ferocious and Catholocs lived in fear. The police were sectarian no ifs no buts so yes its better is it solved no. But armed struggle is a unfortunate but at times the only alternative . I wish it were otherwise

Christ almighty, there are some serious assholes out there trying there best to troll when they haven't a fucking clue what they are talking about.
What he fuck did you expect people in the North to do when they were bunt out of their homes on Bombay Street and the Kashmir Road in '69, when they were shot on the streets of Derry in '72, when the British murder machine and the MRF targetted innocent civilians.
It was men and women of calibre like Bobby Sands, Frank Hughes, Frank Stagg, Michael Gaughan, Mairead Farrell, Jim Lynagh who stood up and said No more.
Without the sacrifices made by those of distinction and solid mettle, the loyalists and the Brits would have trampled and drove Nationalist communities into the ground
