Yeah, I'd never heard about the brothel that they had at Auschwitz until I went there on my first trip to Poland back in May 2007. They talk a bit about it on the tour, and they have other info that you can read at the displays. I've also seen a documantary or two that actually mentioned it; not sure if it's the same one you put the link to, I think the one I saw was a BBC doumentary. It's amazing that with just how much information and how many other documentaries have been made about it, that so few of them actually make mention of it, and so few people seem to know about this part of it. In one interview I remember seeing, they had a Polish guard (essentially one of the prisoners who was given some responsibilities, as he wasn't a Jew), and he talked about actually being allowed once to visit one of the ladies there.

The documentary I saw also mentioned that they've never been able to identify who these ladies were, and have never had any of the know Auschwitz survivors come forward and admit that they were one of the ladies that worked in the brothel there.
