    Default Pro 14

The new Pro 14 is underway. The addition of the 2 South Africa teams should be interesting to watch. New coaches, new players for the teams.

Last night saw Munster get an opening win against a poor Benetton Rugby side and Ulster win against the new South Africans.

Today Leinster are at the Dragons and Connacht are at home against Glasgow.

Leinster are ahead at half time and should win. Will be interesting to see what approach Connacht will take under new coach Keane.

Alot to look foward to over the season.

Unfortunately Ketchup they couldn't get the clean sweep. They lost 18 -12. Connacht wont be bad this season.

2 round in the new Pro 14. Leinster defeated Cardiff tonight 37 -9.

Tomorrow Munster play their first game of the season at Thomond against the new South Africans. Will be interesting to see how the South Africans play. Munster would need to get a good start to the league as there will be a certain amount of disruption when Erasmus leaves later on.

Connacht will be looking to improve on their opening defeat. Could be another wet and windy night at the Sportsground. Could be a good opportunity for Connacht to get their opening win against the other South African side.

Thankfully Connacht won last night as they couldn't afford to lose their first two games. Their in the easier group though, so they should definitely be closer to automatic Champions Cup qualification than last season.

There is a possibility that there will be more teams added in the future.
They are looking at Canada and America + Germany and Spain later.
They are learning their lessons about the English and French

Excellent win for the cheetahs definitely. Leinster had a few problems while in South Africa.

Connacht had worked hard to get into that winning position and then you could say threw it away. They are probably still adjusting to Keane's methods.

Munster had a dreadful time in Glasgow. News that the new appointment could be made soon. They are in serious talks with an individual at the moment. Maybe also a shake up in the management structure. That individual is believed to be David Wessels.

The work that Conor O 'Shea is putting in to Italian rugby is being seen . Michael Bradley is coach to Zebre.

Tadgh Beirne ex Leinster and currently playing with Scarletts is moving to Munster next season.

The Ulster rape trial fallout continues as Craig Gilroy isnt available for selection for Ulster this weekend in the Pro 14.

Connacht's season has gone downhill. What has happened to them? Maybe Willie might have the info.

Munster win in Stander's home town.

Leinster do the expected against Zebre.
