It is hard to beat someone at their own sport unless you have played that sport at his level.
Floyd Mayweather may be forty and his absence from the ring is a factor but he is not just any old boxer but one that is considered to be by many as the best fighter at his weight ever.
Any thing can happen and luck always plays a part but I think the likelyhood is Mayweather will win.

Yes. He has the most to lose with his 100% record and the fact that it is his sport. But I don't think he would have agreed the match if he thought he could lose. Conor McGregor, I think, is just there for the money.

Mayweather never fought an opponent with McGregor's style or character. He completely believes in his own ability (as im sure lots of the top sports people do) and has from day one when he was 18yrs old. Ok Mayweather will probably sneek it but it wont be a knockout. McGregor has a chin of steel and if he get inside Mayweather's defense he could do some real damage. José Aldo was 10 years undefeated yet was shitting himself when he stepped into the ring and wouldnt even look at him, he has this effect on his opponents he gets in their minds and puts doubts in their own belief. I hope he wins but either way its going to be epic. Hopefully...

What about some of these links that pop up on the internet just before the fight? I sometimes see them on facebook and other forums but never looked them up.

I fully agree with your post.

McGregor is in a league of his own. His strategies, his sports psychology utilised with opponents are one of his best set of skills.
He's stylish and intimidates his opponents. He even researched the weakest point with another opponents bringing kids and stuff into the psyche. He's covering every angle in this game.

This lets hope it goes his way.

I'll actually be wounded for him if he doesn't win..

Go Connor.. do what you do best

Ya it's going to be a great fight. Excitement is building but still think mayweather will beat him. Mayweather and Mayo might be a nice double for the weekend
