    Lightbulb We must do more.

    http://www.sundayworld.com/news/video-human-traffick

Another harrowing story. We must do more to stop this happening.

The current system is a failure. EI, including everyone of us, are in the best position to help victims like Anna.

My suggestions would be to have a more prominent link to the agencies set up to help, but this should be in many languages, as many victims don't speak English.

Ruhama, Gardá etc links should also be in many languages.

EI could produce a printable A4 pdf that punters can print off, and bring with them when visiting girls. If yo suspect the girl might be trafficked, just leave the sheet of paper on the bed when you are leaving....simple.
It would have a small paragraph,in the most likely languages, explaining that if they are escorting against their will, feel threatened etc, that safe help is available, giving contact details. If they can't speak English, they could hand this sheet of paper to the police, shop keeper, even a trustworthy looking stranger. It would say something like: I need urgent help..take me to the police now!"

EI, all of us can't keep our heads in the sand...

We need to be proactive, these girls are real, and on this site.

I would say very very few of these girls advertise or are advertised on behalf of on this site.
It most certainly exists but is well hidden. Over many long years I have only met one or maybe
two sex workers who i believed may be trafficked. There was also the occasional one whom I suspected
may have been exploited to a certain extent. As far as I am concerned the Irish Govt by introducing
their new laws no longer have my support and I would not volunteer any information to the Gardai in future.

Furthermore, this idea of leaving notices on the bed is not very clever it will only get the person leaving the
message and the sex worker in deep trouble.

My advice as always. DON'T visit escorts who charge very low rates.
DON'T visit locations which are clearly run down and frequented by numerous escorts. DON'T visit escorts with
no reviews and who won't allow reviews and have unverified pictures. DON'T go through with an appointment if
you have a bad vibe about the place or the escort.

DO leave it to the Boys and Girls in Blue to get up off their arse's and catch the criminals behind the exploitation!!

    Hi guys,

I see the press are twisting the story a lot making E-I look like they are the ones who are kidnapping girls and trafficking them and forcing them to work.
Well of course we all know that it is just plain bull.

Unfortunately it is also very hard to tell what happens behind closed doors, but we here do of course try to help each escort as much as we can.
If we suspect something, then we shall take action, but we also need the help of you guys.

Whilst on topic, if you have suspicions of any escorts being trafficked, forced into something they don't wish to do, then you can report this anonymously

This link will give you the information you would need.

its well hidden, Clients are kept in the dark when it comes to what happens behind the scenes, others simply don't want to know or some don't care.

I stand over what I said previously on the matter. The state is the party responsible imo. This is the end product of prohibition and the recent law changes as I said repeatedly are making matters worse and enhancing the profits of criminal gangs. Simple solution legalise it and then any underground stuff can be more easily identified and eradicated.
