I will take it with a pinch of salt this story. Might be true but very well might be a lie to ruin her business for some reason. People can be very mean . Yes I asked her what she was doing. She dropped the wallet to the floor and denied she'd ever even had it in her hands even though I had just seen her go through it's contents and then drop it to the floor. Outright and blatant denial was her only explanation and probably her only way of dealing with the situation, other than telling the truth, given I'd caught her red handed. She even went as far as telling me I hadn't seen what I had just seen, that I'd imagined it. Go figure. If it walks like a duck, say's 'Quack' and goes well with orange sauce, it's probably a duck!
