I went to see a girl today, advertised in profile as 30 but she is early 40's, few years don't matter but this is going too far,
does it annoy you guys too

You are a male. Your ability to correctly estimate the age of any female is inherently flawed.

When I started people thought I was 24/25. Now they say 27/28. Wonder what happened ...it has only been a year?!

I'd love to say 30. Is there an acceptable margin or is it an out and out no?

Age is but a number, a 40 year old that looks after themselves is going to look a hell of a lot better than a 25 year old crack head.
The more important thing is does she look like her profile images, after that who cares what age she is.
