Scam or not

Spoke to lady in Limerick about meeting up. She was in hotel with lidl carpark nearby. I was told if I was driving that she would meet in carpark downstairs as key card was required. This was plausible.
When I rang to say I was 15min away I was told there was a problem with hotel main door and to go to lidl carpark and she would sit in with me and then go through hotel carpark.
Alarm bells were ringing and I said no thanks can't do that. The lady said ok and was polite.
I don't know if this was a scam but either I was asked to do something stupid or this lady needs to learn not to put herself in any more danger.
I take my own safety and safety of the escorts seriously.
Is this just another weird one or a scam

I think you were right what you did x Both of us security/safety are very important. But If I cant work in a hotel -> I would check-out immediately, but we are different x
