Fake reviews: guaranteed solution for one part of the problem

There are 2 types of totally fake reviews

1. Those by people who never visited the escort
2. Those by the escort themselves

This suggestion will get rid of type 1

1. When each escort registers with EI give them 1,000 review coupons
2. The review coupons are essentially just an 8 digit number
3. The escort then gives one of these to any client who asks
4. The only way you can enter a review for say escort X is to use a valid review coupon number
5. Each review coupon number may only be used once

Then we would all at least be sure that reviews for an escort came from people who had access to their review coupon numbers
(and yes they might still ask friends to use them for false reviews)

Thus this would get rid of all type 1 review fraud

An interesting idea, but when does the escort give the client the number?

If it happens during booking then it doesn't do much to prevent malicious reviews, but if it happens when they meet then there is no way to post a review of the ``I made a booking, went to the place she told me to, called 1000 times and never got an answer'' variety.

Assuming the number is given during the session, does the client ask for it at the beginning or the end? Asking at the beginning could be awkward; it might sound like a threat. Asking at the end isn't much good if you've had a bad experience, because the escort can easily guess this and give you a fake number.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think this idea would work.

First of all, it would do nothing to stop escorts leaving fake positive reviews of themselves as you acknowledge.

Secondly what's to stop escorts handing out review coupon numbers when they are having a good day, but not handing them out when they are having a bad day, therefore creating an unbalanced picture of themselves, because only clients they know they have treated well are able to review them?

Thirdly, it's way too complicated. This site can do a lot to help clients choose escort services, but we can't go to limitless lengths.

We have built a reviews system and we can maintain that reviews system, even add to it and change it over time and try to improve it, but there has to be a sensible line drawn as to how far we go. When people start suggesting ideas like this, I think that line has been crossed.

When I think about getting the developers in for a few months to try to get a system like this working, then employing staff to run it, I have to think... Wait a minute... Is this not a crazy level of pandering to clients? Also what happened to client cop on, do clients need us to filter out every possible fake review, can they not make their own judgements about anything?

i think e-i do the best they can on review system , they have to determine whether its fake or not then decide whether is for or against the escort in mind , they must waiste alot of time on reviews when they could be doing something else , my biggest fear is they get tired of hassles from reviews and abort review system altogether and where would that leave the members .and end of day they rely on honesty and integrity of there members .

Why not simply delete reviews which are believed to be fake and contact posters? If they do not reply, well that proves it. If they do reply, use Rat-Face until satisfied. If you are strict, will scare away fakes, supposedly.....

I understand I have been referred to as a pimp for C&M - but I like to believe I am real. IMO, truth will out....

I know for myself, I only visit escorts who I believe are real - hence my all positive posts - I research until happy. I would be tempted to re-visit some of my early posts based on current experience (i.e. some of my positive reviews could be attributed to inexperience), but I am happy to stand over everything I have posted and will happily defend some of the duos here with my last breath.

Appreciate stars, numder of posts etc. But IMO, just delete and confirm - do not entertain fakies....
