Recent Updates to E-I

For those that have been saying "Pat doesn't give a shit" lately... Actually it is not that I don't give a shit, but rather than I'm working my ass off trying to get some changes implimented around here We are not finished all the changes we want to do, but a number of changes have been made over the last week, and so I thought it about time I post about these.

[1] Message board username field added to escort profiles. We have added a field to escort profiles for the escort's message board username. Any escort can update her profile to include her message board username anytime. This change has been implimented as clients asked if we could add this info to the escort profiles. Soon we also hope to announce that escort access to the private escort forums will be automatic for advertisers who have added their message board username to their escort profile. On the downside, I see many escorts are misunderstanding this field and just putting their name in there, even though they don't use the message boards or have an account, but hopefully in time it will be better understood by escorts.

[2] Translation of Escort Advertiser Logged-in Area into multiple languages. We are in the process of translating this section into multiple languages. We are doing this because we feel many escorts don't have great English and as a result are filling out our forms incorrectly. For example, ladies may be ticking all the favourite boxes not even knowing what half of them mean. Translating this section won't stop escort laziness in filling out forms properly or escort dishonestly, but hopefully it will help genuine escorts without perfect English to get their profiles right. Currently the section is available in English, French, Dutch, Czech and Danish. Over the next few days it will also be available in German, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish and Ukrainian, as we are adding these translations currently. If you think we are missing an important language, please let us know.

[3] Escorts can now update their own photos anytime. Yes, that's right, no more emailing E-I to update your photos or not being able to update your photos as often as you like - Escorts can now log in and change their photos as often as they like. Their is no approval process in place, as soon as an escort changes her photos, the new photos will appear on the site. However, every time an escort changes her photos the verification status of them will change to "Awaiting Verification". Our staff get an alert each time an escort's photos change to this status and will promptly mark them as genuine or cannot be verified as genuine. We have also added a space in the escort advertisers area for each escort to add a private (for our eyes only) verification photo of her holding a piece of paper saying "Escort Ireland". We recommend all escorts do this, because it enables us to verify photos quickly and easily.

[4] Escorts can now update all of their profile information themselves with the exception of their name, banner (if applicable), location and tours details or escort type (agency/independent).

[5] Abuse. If any escorts decide to abuse their ability to update their own profile and photos by advertising favourites they don't provide, uploading photos of porn stars instead of themself etc, we will not hesitate to remove their access to the advertiser area. Sorry, but this has to be said before any naughty escorts get bad ideas!

Thanks and keep the ideas coming, but please try to understand their is only so much I can do in a day. We want all your ideas, but we simply can't impliment them all quickly. Some suggestions are actually weeks of work to impliment and people don't seem to understand that. Also, I get a load of complaints every time I leave this forum to go do some other work for a while, but the fact is I can't be here all day every day unless I do nothing else

When ooh when can we have acces to change our location and tours details???
That´s the most important since it´s a hassle to contact staff everytime if we want to change tours. Most of the time staff don´t answer the phone or emails will not be answer quick either. Also staff makes often mistakes with touring dates and location.

any escorts requiring a man's direction in taking photos that will gain them maximum business plesae don't hesitate in contacting me for a personal photo session!

well, this is a dead cert to happen when you consider the amount of fake pics posted on profiles already while E-I 'vetted' them!

Is there any possibility we get access also for rebutals to reviews?

Reason i have not responded to 2 of them is just because i need to send it to staff,than i dont know how long i can write or cant than at the end i said i ll do that but then did not bothered,as it s just complicated,but still want to do it.

Unfortunately giving advertisers access to change their location and tour details is very complicated. The payment side of it is one of the problems. I mean people have to pay for tours, but we can't automate payments, because most advertisers are paying by bank lodgement. If we could come up with a way to let ladies update their own tours we would do it, but it is just not an easy issue at all.

Regards staff not answering emails / the phone promptly or making mistakes. As most of you probably know we do have staff working 7 days a week. On weekdays there are always at least 4 staff dedicated to advertising customer support and at weekends always at least 2. We are upgrading our email management software next week, which may improve the situation. We are also getting a state of the art phone system in place over the coming weeks, so we will know exactly how many calls are going unanswered etc, and we hope this will enable us to provide a better service. We do have new staff quite often and of course new staff can make mistakes, but we hope with all the better monitoring we are putting in place that thing will get better.

Nothing much in your opinion, but it did actually take us some effort to build forms and processes to let advertisers update all these fields, and some might appreciate it.
