Unfortunately it happens that people who we consider good friends are not really as good as we first thought and we only learn this when it is too late. Because we consider them friends we allow things to proceed further then we would with a complete stranger. This is where one really gets hurt!

I think my biggest problem was not noticing who is genuinely being my friend. Being let down a few times made me push everyone away. That can be hard, and you will get some downs but believe me far more ups. If you had friends, then what's to stop you making new ones?
