obviously its not a joke as theres 4 posters so far have voiced their unhappiness on this thread. which leaves us moderators more open to allegations of arrogance by snubbing the voice of the people that post regularily and reasonably. i dont like posters feeling alienated from the mods, a them and us is no good.

I made a joke because your original post is a joke as you blame a lack of people in chat as being the fault of both mods or the list when logic dictates that if mods where the cause of this then the one area that is and always has been a free fire zone or people to say what ever they like has been………….

You of course conveniently leave out the fact that another reason why people have shied away from the chat room of late might have been as a direct bi product of you having posted a copy of the chat log a few days ago and although I agree the need to out such blatent racism was valid and had to be done you still none the less have to accept that people who mught otherwise have been in chat last night did not do so as you where in there and they did not want to take the chance that their imput might inadvertently be posted depending on what event might happen.

I was using the chatroom as an example of the lack of participation on this site lately, the threads here are quiet also.

I posted that chat log because it was disgusting , but fair enough if u want to make light of that fact,. And if someone posted that kinda thing again i will place in the public domain.

Maybe if this person was checked earlier by the mods for their racist behaviour in a thread ,it might not of come to this. Dont be blaming me for your failings.

If you read that the chatlogs you would see that nobody influenced the outcome only the person that launched the tirade

whats going on here.
Is this website dying on its feet. This is the third time in a week, that there has been no one in chatroom after 12.
And really the posts on forum have just been either joke threads or nonsencical . It a strange development that has coincided with the appointment of the mods and the leaking of the list( imho). So im curious are threads and posts being deleted or are people scared to post.

So please i implore everyone to bring this site back to where it was or else it will become as boring as jake and the buttman sit...... nbt

My own view is that there is no coincidence between the appointment of the mods and the falloff in real interaction. There is a clear and obvious link between the two.

If anyone read the boards dispassionately it would be very clear that the level of arrogance from the moderators towards other users is staggering. I read a post by Ric yesterday where he apologised for moving a thread and when it was further commented on, he issued an incredibly high handed threat to that poster.

I think it might be important to remember that the role of a moderator on a site like this is prevent breaches of actual rules, not to impose their opinions.

I wrote a post recently on this addressed to Patricia, warning of the fact that if the user community were to be treated in this high handed way, that they would just stop participating. This site needs more than adverts from the girls to survive, it needs interaction to keep people coming back. However, Patricia has not responded at all.

Let's see what happens, but if common sense doesnt prevail, and the usage of the site falls, it will affect the ad revenue. Once that happens, it will be too late. People will vote with their feet, both escorts and punters....

Just my two cents worth.

The logical explanation could be that people are not coming to the site to post or read new posts and hence they are not using the chat room either. Why they are not coming for my money is probably 2 fold

The site whether you like it or not has gone quiet while it is true that just because 2 events happen at the same time does not mean they are connected the fact that 2 separate posters have replied to NBT specifically saying that the issue of moderation has been a factor in them not using the site surely should suggest to any reasonable level headed person that there may be a connection. Perhaps that is why you cannot see the possible connection.

It' s not just the chatroom and general chat; Soap Opera has gone extremely quite since Lizzy's removal. As you say Cal, love her or loath her, she had a unique way of getting people passionately involved.....something that she shared with Paws. It's unfortunate that people who had interesting/funny/contentious things to say could'nt do so while staying within the reasonable bounds imposed by the rules. Having created a Soap section, mainly for Liz, it has now gone dead without her. General Chat is suffering by Paws being locked away in Soapland, from where he is maintaining a stoney silence.

At this rate, it will soon be as quite in here as across the road before the great list's scandle woke them up.
