Yep they do but I doubt anyone has got to make it last long term, don't care what anyone says, you can't be with someone sexually over a long period of time without emotional attachment creeping in.
Once that happens things start getting awkward, especially if the reason they are just fuck buddies is because one or both are already attached to someone else and don't want another relationship.

I think it is important to discuss terms very clearly in the begining.

Wrong. The point of having a fuck buddy is for sex, Nothing else. I have had a few. The 1st one was in a relationship with a fella for 5 years. She had 2 or 3 fuck buddies like me which her partner did not know about but i did. She didn't want birthday presents from me or Christmas presents she didn't want support she just wanted sex.
