He hasn't been pimping, that's a silly headline. It's a classified site, it's already been tried in law and proven they can't be held responsible. It's just a ruse to pull them in, they know the charges can't stick, but it will gain them an awful lot of publicity. That can happen to any online portal...and anyone working for one. I would be more concerned about that than trying to highlight malpractice in the advertising industry.

It wont backfire though. Never notice the accounts that post links to the blogs NEVER post anywhere else or respond to the comments here? They're posted by an office lackey. Same as pretending the E-I twitter accounts is controlled by Sarah. Come on, we're not (all) idiots and it makes the company look bad by keeping up the pretense.

We all have our own roles and that allows us to be always responsive to our clients - be it on the forums, on social media, by the phone or via email. The fact that not all developers or customer service agents post in communities does not mean they don't exist and they're not doing their part. The forums are mainly managed by the moderators, as you know. I might only occasionally post on threads but that does not mean I'm not full-on active on twitter.
