    Default Sexual Offenses Bill to be Considered this week and voted on.

    Wednesday this week coming the Sexual Offences Bill is before the Dail , and also Thursday this week the same before the Dail for voting. It is officially on the order of business of the Dail this week coming and is in the list of bills that will be attended too. The list is below and schedule and the main debate is on Wednsday night and tidying up Thursday.

    I see the minister for housing is receiving oral at 1.32pm.

    It's a shoe in and will have a commencement date before Christmas!

    It could but there could also be amendments that are required that could delay it. But with the inclusion on Thursday unless already dealt with these amendments could be dealt with quickly. But who knows certainly looks like the lobbying has worked but nothing is a sure thing.

    A new bill if passed can be sent to the president immediately to be made law. And if the majority agrees in the house this will be the case. But again who knows. It could get sent back to committee for further investigation or recommendations which would delay it.

    Wishful thinking. The bill has exhausted all committee stages and is ready to be signed into law as soon as it passes the final vote this week. There is no opposition to it and will pass this final stage.

    well if it is passed,i will say a wee prayer that Michael O Leary will keep the air fares at low price

    Was not aware of the info in relation to the committee stages happening already. So yes the final vote is this week from what you say and there is no opposition to it also then it's just a matter of time.
