I want to say some things in Irish to some American people. I was hoping that you could translate a few sentences for me. Is anyone here fluent in Irish?

I got an A2 in my leaving cert many years ago so i suppose I'm fluent

Kiss my ass - pog ma thon (pronounced h-own)
fuck off- foc il leat (pronounced latt)

There are different dialects through the country. Different words are used for some things in each region.
Irish Dictionary Online - Irish English Dictionary

I always new the word for penis as been budgeen. I never saw it in the written form as their would be no need for it for Leaving Cert But in other regions it's known as slat. In my translation a slat is a rod

Dolly, there is an old saying or seanfocal in Irish. It goes something like this......

"Nil aon Thontine mar do hThontine fein".

Translated into English, it means...."There's no backside/arse like your own backside/arse".

I'm not quite sure about the spelling....but I'm sure Highway or Anon would be able to give you an exact version.

You could also change it to "Nil aon Thontine mar mo hThontine fein" and use it as your Irish slogan. It would be great for drumming up the business in the Gaeltacht areas.
