Given he was handed the minimum sentence possible it seems the judge agrees. He plead guilty so they couldn't not do him for it.

He seemed like a nice guy. He genuienly thought if he just provided a house and the girls were self employed he wasn't breaking the law.
If I remember he freaked out a little, confessed all, and fled from the police. A prober gangster would have got off with it using the old right to silence.
