I caught a bit of Jeremy Vine's show today on radio 2 and they were talking about it. Some idiot calling in saying he should be squeaky clean to be a politician, that all politicians should never do anything wrong.

So the host playing devils advocate says that even if true, it's not illegal, so define wrong, and the caller just kept repeating that it's not right he shouldn't do it. It's sad that that's the general perception of people paying for sex.

When the economy went to shit and jobs were hard to come by I was stuck in a proper blue collar job in a dump of a town and the subject of escorts came up in the canteen one day. Has been in and out of jail a few times for beating his ex, gets lifted every other weekend drunk and disorderly (but the peelers are out to get him chaknow?), had just missed work being in court for pissing outside a school, and had the police arrest him at work for going into a republican bar and knocking hell out of some wee lad.

'X' screws up his face and says if he knew that was going on near him he's knock hell out of any punters he saw and go in and throw out the woman. Says's its totally wrong and immoral. Part of me died during that conversation. I've no idea how someones sense or morality can get so warped while living in their own wee bubble of shit.

Him in particular only had an ex because he was banging all round him while she was home looking after the newborn. And he'll smile while regaling us with the story of the night she caught him and confronted him about it, and he kicked her and his baby out and chucked all her stuff out the door after her, and the young cubs in work sit laughing 'just right mate just right.'
