    Default Security cameras

I know this is nothing to do with escorts, but my head is melted.

I want to update my 10 year old security cameras.
    Hd TVI or IP ?

I could buy a turbo DVR and throw up a few cameras using the existing coax, but I'm tempted to put in a new IP network.
I don't know a whole lot about it. It looks easy enough.

Any suggestion? What should I buy?

Don't cheap out on IP cameras or DVRs, some of the cheap Chinese brands have bad to non existent security

Not sure where you based, but if you have a look at Costco website, they have some cracking ones on there. I got my home ones from there and I can spy on home from afar and i also have the pet cams which are brilliant and send me motion or noise reports with captured images

I have a trade account but you can get general public card too. Prices remain the same whichever you get.

Also, this episode of Security Now has some great information on what brands to avoid, including Netgear for a monumental F up around security that made it so anyone could take the serial number off the box in the store, then add it to their own account for remote viewing.

It's a bit dry and overly technical, but it's a good look at the perils of consumer grade IP cams
