It's like Whatapp or Viber.
It allows text messaging between users. Pictures and I think video also.
The big difference with KIK is users may remain anonymous, as far as I know.

I think the big difference is whatsap works off your phone number but with KIK you just use a user name but I could be wrong.

Kik is more for spammers.
I have it, but get a lot of spam asking me to join their webcam sites, saying it is free (which isn't)
I think that is about it most of the time. There are other spam stuff, but not as much as the webcam shit.
Kik isn't worth the hassle unless you are getting to know somebody, but then I would rather use Whatsapp.

Floki is missing the point, probably because he's not a dIrt bird unlike me
I use Kik to pick up women from the Internet.
Kik doesn't use my phone number or name unlike WhatsApp and Viber.
KIK is ideal when you want to be able to walk away from lunatics and one night stands or fuck buddies that I don't want in my life.
If something develops I can always give them my number.
Kik is ideal for married women.

Yeah, I agree with KIK being only for non commitment type of interactions.
One needs an email address tho and this is visible, so ideally use a non personal one.
