A lot of escorts are totally independent & work for themselves.

A pimp will control the girl, advertise for her, take the appointments, she will have no say whatsoever who she sees, what hours she works, where she works. The pimp will take a % of each & every appointment fee.

If a girl chooses to work with a security guy, that's a different matter. She will pay him a fixed daily/weekly fee. He will not have anything to do with her escorting, he will not control her or take a % of her earnings.
