If birds of a feather, who flock together, were of a reflective nature, and you were Dr. Doolittle, they would tell you that there is safety in numbers.
In Europe, still, you are far more likely to be hit by a bus or die in a car crash than to get caught up in a terrorist event.
In recent days, while crossing the street, i have absent mindedly caused a car to brake while not paying proper attention and also had a cyclist, up close and personal before I noticed him,,,,,,, probably thinking about escorts too much;-)
The nightmare terrorist scenario is if the loons manage to make a '' dirty bomb '' (using illegally sourced nuclear material) and detonate it.
If they set it off in the Nevadan desert they would kill a few jackrabbits but if they targeted a major city, they could cause havoc.
Fortunately for us here, we are likely to be well down the queue for such events but even in this country, it has to be borne in mind.
