Nope, I think my system is different, or at least the reasons behind are.

Simply put it, I was so busy with other stuff since last year (holidays, knee accident, college, other job etc.) that I really prefer to see a very few people I know well and who don't require a confirmation unless they book days in advance, and even that confirmation just to make sure both parties have't forgotten their date. If I do see someone from which I would request a half hour confirmation before, I would like it by text usually, too many phone calls are annoying in my opinion.
